Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It…
Ado Ato Pictures is currently seeking a full-time Production Assistant for our Amsterdam office. This is an incredible opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to play a critical role in supporting our creative and production teams. You’ll work closely with producers, the creative director, and other staff to help manage workflows, support office operations, and ensure the smooth execution of our projects.
From coordinating schedules and overseeing workflows to preparing grant applications and managing interns, this position is dynamic and impactful, providing hands-on experience in a vibrant creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Studio Operations and Office Management:
- Work closely with the Studio Team to ensure efficient office operations, including maintaining supplies, organizing schedules, and overseeing facility maintenance.
- Support team members with office-related needs and general workspace upkeep.
- Project Coordination:
- Maintain and update project timelines
- Manage scheduling for the creative director and production team.
- Ensure smooth delivery of assets and troubleshoot workflow issues.
- Content and Communication:
- Coordinate and manage the social media schedule, assigning design/copy tasks as needed, and posting content while ensuring alignment with the studio’s branding strategy.
- Assist with creating publicity materials and liaising with the PR team.
- Team Support and Management:
- Oversee intern hiring, training, and feedback.
- Provide on- and off-set assistance for producers, as required.
- Liaise between producers and the post-production team to ensure effective communication.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Regularly update the studio’s website and manage documentation filing.
- Assist with preparing grant applications and interview potential personnel or contractors.
- Organize office files and maintain an orderly downloads folder on office computers.
- Support the creation of visual presentations and project overviews
Qualifications
- Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a production or administrative role in film, media, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in tools like Monday.com, Asana and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, etc.) is essential
- Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch language skills are a bonus.
- A knack for clear communication, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Passion:
- A strong interest in storytelling, social justice, and projects addressing topics such as world cultures, LGBTQ+ and women's rights, and diversity.
Requirements
- Full-time availability, based in Amsterdam.
